Have you been interested in dedicating time to your clay practice, or starting one? Our 10 week adult clay courses are the perfect opportunity for both beginners, intermediate and advanced clay artists!

Our instructor, Shannon owo Webb will walk you through integral knowledge to begin your clay journey, such as wedging, making slabs, pinching/coiling and wheel throwing methods to create sculptural or functional pieces to use in your own home! Glazing, studio safety and etiquette will also be discussed.

All work will be fired here at the studio, and you will recieve your first 25 lbs of clay with registration. Additional bags of clay can be purchased, and include the cost of firing and glazes.
"Class Clay" is $35.00 per 25 lb bag.  You can also purchase "Reclaim Class Clay" for $22.50 per bag. Tools are also available for purchase, and you are welcome to bring your own. No outside clays or glazes are allowed in the RLCC studio. Underglazes are ok.

Students also have studio access outside of class time, during normal gallery hours, and when other events have not been scheduled:
Gallery Business hours (Open studio hours):
Tues.-Sat. 10am-6pm
Sunday 12-4pm
Monday- CLOSED (no open studio hours that day)
***RLCC reserves the right to close the studio for private lessons, community classes and other special events. All events will be noted on the public calendar at least 1 week in advance***

A private shelf will be provided for each student enrolled to store your work and/or tools. Just note that it is in a public work space, and RLCC is not responsible for belongings stored on your shelf.

If the course is full, and you would like to be put on the waitlist, please email Rachael Jones, the Programs Coordinator with your full name,  email address and phone number.

We hope to see you in the studio in the winter!
